The Michael H. Minger Memorial Golf Classic is an annual event held in September of each year. September is National Campus Fire Safety Month and the month Michael lost his life in a dormitory arson fire on his college campus.

The golf tournament was established in 2007 as a way to bring the fire and life safety industry together to support the work of Michael’s Foundation. It is held in the Nashville area and folks from all over the nation join us to honor Michael’s life.
The Minger Golf Classic supports student scholarships, PSA’S, events related to students with disabilities, public speaking opportunities, and fire and life safety education.
